The Journey at a Glance

Our beloved Canadian family and friends begin touching down in Egypt! Expect warm hugs, joyful reunions, and a chance to settle in, rest, and soak up the anticipation before the adventure ahead begins.

We’ll dive into the heart of Egypt with a 3-day adventure through Cairo, exploring ancient wonders and vibrant modern life:

• The Pyramids of Giza — among the oldest and most remarkable structures on Earth
• The newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
• Old Cairo, local gems, and plenty of delicious food

We’ll journey south together to Aswan and settle into the charming Kato Dool Wellness Resort. The day includes a visit to the lush Botanical Garden, a stroll through the vibrant Nubian Village, and a peaceful evening immersed in color, culture, and good company. Expect relaxed vibes, beautiful views, and maybe even a little dancing under the stars.

• Flight from Cairo to Aswan

This is when most of our guests will be arriving in Aswan for the celebration. We’ll end the day gathered around a shared dinner — an evening of community, connection, and delicious local flavors to kick off the adventure together.

We’ll start the morning with a relaxed, delicious breakfast at the hotel. The wedding ceremony begins at 2 PM, followed by an unforgettable celebration surrounded by the people we love most.

After breakfast, we’ll board our cruise ship and set sail on a breathtaking journey along the Nile (transportation to the ship is provided). Expect stunning river views, ancient temples, and magical sunsets as we travel from Aswan to Luxor together.

Once we disembark in Luxor, we’ll travel by bus to the beautiful coastal town of El Gouna, near Hurghada. Here, you can spend your days snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, exploring by boat, soaking up the sun, or simply relaxing by the sea. It’s the perfect, joyful close to an unforgettable adventure.

If you’re joining us in Gouna, you can fly home directly from Hurghada. If you choose to skip the Red Sea portion, your departure will be from Luxor.
